During the winter season, the energy of the Earth and its creatures is drawn inward. This downtime can leave you more susceptible to lethargy, restlessness, and maybe even the winter blues. When we are cold, our circulation decreases, which not only slows the effectiveness of the organs, it also lowers our body temperature even more. This can lead to constriction in the muscles, joints and even our perspective.
However, winter is also an ideal time for restoration and introspection, just as many plants and animals use it for hibernation. In preparation for the spring, it is important to slow down and rejuvenate.
That is why I say... unbundle yourself, roll out your mat and join us! During the winter months you have all the more reason to get into the flow of yoga and develop an internal heat that keeps you healty and warm.
The doors of the enchanting Casa Fuzetta will open for four cozy Winter Wellness Yoga Sessions to get us through winter: 11 November, 9 December, 6 January and 3 February. Lazy Sundays on which we will discover the warm light within ourselves through Yin and Yang Yoga and Yoga Nidra accompanied by magical live piano music that thaws your heart...
The Winter Wellness Yoga Sessions will be hosted by Sanne Theben Terville and David Fernandes. Sanne's healing voice as an experienced international yoga teacher will take you on a journey of deep relaxation and connection. David's angelic piano music will guide you on this path.
